This is probably the best book I've ever read. If it wasn't for Gregory Maguire, Wicked never would have existed.

This books is AMAZING and the story is beautifuly written, but i have to disagree with the review above.This book isn't written for kids, specially not first graders. It deals with lots of adult themes such as politics, sexual situations and violence.The musical might be better for a younger audience. Anyway that been said, this i one of the best stories I've ever read ad I think is worth reading a thousand of times.
